Moment

Sometimes that image that you dream of capturing doesn't happen in a studio. This image was captured at a family dinner but the "moment" was so pure and perfect and thats what makes this picture beautiful. Meet my wonderful sister-in-law Alison, and her baby boy.

Troy + Jennifer ~ Engaged

It was one of those unusually sunny evenings in March, following a worrisom cloudy day, when I met up wtih Troy and Jennifer at Boise's Hyde Park--a quaint and charming "small town" neighborhood complete with striped awnings shadowing storefronts of mom and pop businesses, inviting benches, and just urbanesque enough to make it a tempting stop for anyone. This couple rocked their engagement session!

One of my favorite shots of the night!

Favorite shot...

Little Lady

Photographing girls is a completely different from photographing boys and since I've got a little boy and am surrounded by mostly nephews, I jump at the chance to photograph a girl when I am offered the opportunity. Contrasting the rough and tumble, catch-me-if-you-can photo mentality of my little boy, this young lady was all girl and on her best behavior in her favorite dress (its a gorgeous chocolate brown--you can tell she'll have stellar fashion sense when she's grown!). Her mom wanted some formal shots to capture lost last, fleeting "baby" looks before her little lady loses them forever. I hope I captured them.

I call this textured antique. Its a process I'm working on and felt worked really well for this shot. The process gives an image a deeper, more intetesting, almost old world feeling; timeless. This young lady's serious, verging on sad, expression really adds to the mood of the image. I love it!

Troy + Jennifer ~ Teaser

Gorgeous couple. Beautiful night. Awesome location. I'm in the midst of proofing Troy & Jennifer's e-session and wanted to post a teaser shot, until I get the rest of the session proofed.

A Change of Plans

Initially, I had determined not to photograph any summer weddings due to pregnancy.

Due to an unfortunate change in plans, I am now opening up my summer for portraits and weddings. Please use the contact information at the bottom of this page if you have any questions or would like to book a session/event.

Thanks,

Charlotte See

Dan + Courtney 12.20.08

Dan & Courtney's wedding day was a lot of fun, not only for the couple who spent the day smiling and laughing and having a great time, but for the photographer too. This winter wedding was full of gorgeous settings, frozen fingers and noses, and even some snow. Kudos to the bride and groom for braving the cold for pictures! Congratulations Dan & Courtney!

The "R" Family

This family is no stranger to my camera. I love photographing people who love to be photographed (and when they're really photogenic its an even sweeter treat)! This shoot was at the family's beautiful home, decorated to the hilt for the holidays.

The "C" Family

The "C" family is a young and very energetic family. Mom and dad have to be energetic to keep up with their three completely adorable boys. This shoot was a lot of fun, in spite of the threatening rain clouds. We met at Katherine Albertson Park and the park was alive with autumn color.

The "R" Family

This shoot was at one of my new favorite spots. Lots of yummy evening light and brilliant colors and was probably one of the last semi-warm evenings of 2008. This is my brother's family and they're all so photogenic and cute!

The "D" Family

It was a chilly, but sun-drenched and yummy colored autumn morning in October when I met the D family at their gorgeous home. Thank you D family for braving the early morning temps for our session. What a beautiful family!
